Choice For Peace
Today in R.E. I learned in class about Guy Fawkes Day and Parihaka. Once there was a man named Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night this man is known of why we celebrate Guy Fawkes day. Bonfire Night/Guy Fawkes never liked a single bit of how the King Of England treated his kingdom. So he made a plan of how to kill the king. He didn’t care of how many people he killed he just needed to kill the king for good. After preparing the Gunpowder and getting ready to kill the king he got caught and was ordered from the king to be killed immediately. So the King put on one condition that on the November Of the 5th Guy Fawkes day will be celebrated. This Holiday is similar too Parihaka day and Parihaka is similar too Waitangi day also.
