1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk,
3. egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
5. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle,
6. using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.

My teacher’s name is Mr. Gaffney. His teacher name is Alan Gaffney. He speaks in rhymes all the time. He can read your mind. Mr. Gaffney is a great learning teacher. He is smart too. He is a great dodgeball coach. He is good at learning. When Mr. Gaffney washes his hands he sprinkles people with water. Mr. Gaffney knows what his students wants to do and learn, Mr. Gaffney is very healthy too. I like my teacher!
