Today for learning I learned for Math about Ordering Decimals Revision. How you do this if you have a question like, In every lane there is a number but if it's the number zero it won't add the biggest number it would be probably stay the same. and it's goes for example, if I had "0.6, 0.3, 0.4, 0.9" I would need to put them from the smallest number to the biggest like it goes, 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.9. I really enjoyed today's math because I learned something that I understand really well. I hope you found fun in my learning today also.

Today In Religious Education I completed my activity of The People Of Advent. Hope your enjoy my work because be prepared for my next blogs coming soon.

WALT: Recognise that the advent reading from Isaiah helps people hope for the messiah and remind them to prepare for his coming.

Match the sentences together and then write a short paragraph using those sentences to inform your readers about advent. Create either a DLO or storyboard about the events of advent.

1, the penitential or preparation seasons of the Liturgical year are - Advent & Lent.

2, The liturgical year begins each year - the first Sunday of Advent.

3, the most important feast in the Liturgical year is - Easter the day of Jesus resurrection.

4, The colour you would see featured in the church decorations, during ordinary time is - Green, the colour of hope. 

5, In the homily the hymns  and scripture readings for advent the theme is - Repentance, fasting, prayer and giving to the poor.

6, The Sunday scripture readings are set out in a - Three Year Cycle - Year A,B,C.      

7.  The liturgical cycle of the Catholic church is shared with - Other Christian churches with a few exceptions.

8. The season begins on - Ash Wednesday and lasts 6 weeks ending on Holy Saturday, the Saturday before Easter.

9. Ordinary Time lasts for 34 weeks is - spread over 2 blocks, after Easter and after the Epiphany.

10. The Liturgical Feasts and seasons are celebrated - people in the liturgical celebrations in Church communities. 

                         

 

Angeline's Converting Fraction Term 4 2020

Today in Math today I finally completed my Converting Fractions Activity with the help of my problem solving abilities I was able to work out my answers. So for example 8/5(this is a fraction, 8/5) and turn that into 8÷5 = 0.16 (which is a decimal) and move the 0 two times to the right and it's 16% (which is also a percent/percentage). So I'm giving you a challenge for you guys to complete for me, I want you guys to learn these (5/4 2/5 1/3 and try to turn these problems into these decimal form & percentage form. Angeline - Sun Facts

Today in Inquiry I did some facts about the sun with a little bit of maths in it as well. The sun is a giant star, a hot ball of energy gives us humans the energy to take the power to be able to walk and run. including the sun is at the heart/middle of the solar system. Without the heat & energy of the sun, there would be no life on earth anywhere because the galaxy would be a Ice age. There's billions of stars like the sun that circle around the milky way galaxy. Angeline - Stories About Mary (Part 2)

Today in R.E, I did a little piece of work about the major events in Mary's life. Mary became a servant of God and a mother of a baby named Jesus, there was Joseph who was engaged with Mary also the Father Of Baby Jesus. It builds on to when the angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to be married to Joseph and have a Baby named Jesus and give birth to his in Bethlehem including when he says that Baby Jesus will become the most Holy and powering person in the world who will also become the son of God. Mary found out that she was going to have a baby because the angel Gabriel told her that she would have one, he was going to be the most holy and powerful being in the world and would also name him Jesus, the Son Of the Most High. The Birth Of Jesus Foretold

 

The Angel Gabriel was sent by God that was sent to tell Mary about her son future, Jesus. Mary was living in a a Town in Galilee called Nazareth, suddenly Gabriel appeared  to her, He came to her and said. “Greetings, Mary! The Lord is with yourself.” Mary was uneasy about his meeting and didn’t know what he was talking about. The Angel, Gabriel continued talking and said “Do not be Afraid, Mary, for you have found approvals to be with God…”And the Angel talked more about her future and the part when she was going to be engaged with a man named Joseph who lived in the house whole of David, “Mary was shocked about this good news.” so she decided to become to take part of this huge event and said that she would become “the Servant of The Lord, she answered Angel Gabriel, May your word to me be fulfilled.” and that’s when the angel vanished.

In this scripture reading of Luke: 26-38, The Birth of Jesus Foretold. I find out Mary’s first experience with God. I know this because in the scrip it said that the Angel Gabriel told Mary about her future son who was going to be named, Jesus and that she would probably end up getting engaged with a man named Joseph who lived in the House whole of David. Mary was shocked about this type of New she had heard, but she decided of what path she would take and become one of “the Servant's of God” she answered the Angel Gabriel. I know this because the Son Of the Most High aka Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus is fulled with miracles and happiness he was right next to the right side of the father (God) when it was Pentecost though and Jesus was even able to get the disciples the coverage to tell the people the good news. So that makes Jesus the Son Of the Most High from how powerful and holy he is still. Cluing the last thing the sentence said was when Mary answered the Angel “I am The Lord’s Servant,” she said, “May your word to me fulfilled.” that’s when the Angel left Mary. 

 

Fact Tree: Cockroaches

Today in Reading, I learned about Cockroaches. I'm not a big fan of Cockroaches but God said that we should love everyone so? Cockroaches are very weird creatures the types of species they are is insects, Cockroaches could grow into different sizes from A,B,C,D to E which is the biggest types of size. Maybe Cockroaches can rule the world even but I wouldn't really want Cockroaches hopping around my room or anywhere. Angeline - Communions Of Saints - St. Cecilia

Today in R.E we learned about the Communion Of Saints which sounds like a huge family of saints from the time before us. The saint I choose was a saint named St. Cecilia who is the director of Music/Church Music, she was dying, so she sang to God that was written by musicians played at her wedding and continued singing to the lord Her Feast Day is celebrated on November 22nd (which is the same day where my birthday is celebrated on). Angeline - The Human Knot

Today in learning, my class and I did a cool fun activity called the Human Knot. how you play this game, is that you need to get separate first into two different teams, Team A and Team B. Once your in your team's then put out your right hand in the middle of the circle and hope the opposite persons right hand and that's when the challenge begin try and use ideas/strategies to get out of that sticky situation, use a respectful attitude to your teammates. Chelsea Sugar Factory Research

Today I learned about the Chelsea Sugar Factory, this factory starting being built back in 1883 and finished back in 1884 the year after 1883. 

When we got to the factory we walked out of the bus with our bags and sat on the seats where I saw where the tours started and the baking class, I was able to do baking first and we baked chocolate chip biscuits and were able to also eat them or put them away for later. Next we were going to be toured by our tour guy. there was a lot of interesting and fun things ready for us to do and learn about like it takes 8 weeks or 7 weeks for the ships full of sugar to arrive at the Sugar Factory. After the tour we walked back into where the tour begin and enter the Interactive zone where my group takes a test full of questions of Chelsea Sugar Factory. Angeline - All Souls Day

 Today I did a research on all souls day (a little bit of all saints day also). This day is about all those souls who have gone between, the Purgatory, all saints day is when all those saints go straight up to heaven so it’s your choice I think for you to go to heaven or hell when you die i don’t know if it’s your choice but it maybe is. So comment down below if you have a saint and a pray for all those souls who is between the Purgatory or maybe is gone to heaven or hell already. Angeline - Squash Research

 Today in class, it was my second time playing squash, but the real question is what is Squash? Well squash is a very fun and fast game and it’s looks like badminton but you have to move around if you want to get somewhere or in other words you have to move around to swing the ball to the person or swing the ball to the wall to bound it to the person your up against. Road Safety

Today I learned about what Road safety is. Road Safety is very important because you never know when you're get runned over by a speeding car. when your crossing the road always go to the black and white crossing or go to the crossing road so it can make crossing the road more easy and on the black and white crossing all cars that pack through has to stop whenever a person or more is crossing the black and white road crossing. so comment down below what you know about road safety also and make sure your going to have a great learning day!

Labour Day

 Labour Day

“Labour Day” just started today but each year there’s a “Labour day maybe a National Day will come soon but I don’t want people to get that idea of people who have access to claim a day as National Day or maybe National will start winning or something like that”. I jumped up active and ready to be prepared for what a day was coming up, I could tell that it was going to be sunny and all the things that would planned on the planning list. Hours went by and everyone was full of energy but expected my older sibling who looked like they were being lazy and boring as always though. Most of my family came plus my crazy annoying cousins who I dislike somethings, when we went to Mangere Centre Park we just chilled out to wait for my dad’s family to come so we could play some sports/games. After awhile some of them ended up coming and we played with a volleyball that one of them brought over and we played but we changed up the game to touch rugby. The sun was shining so bright it gave me a suntan but lucky that my mother put sun screen on me before I went out to play, a long long active day was tiring, at the end of the session everyone got prizes and I lefted after we got them well I ate my jet planes lollies in the car well we rolled home like the homies of the pack.

Niue Language Week 2020

Today I finished my Niuean Language Week blog, we didn't d anything for Niuean Language Week but that's ok, I just learned the language a bit from some Niuean classes and graduated last week on Wednesday. I did a blog about Niuean Language Week and I thought that was a great idea. So comment down below if you're Niuean also so I could say Malolo nakai a ko? Math: Adding & Subtracting

Today In Math I learned about Adding & Subtracting Math problems counting a practical steel for me also to do. Review 1: I had to find out this one with using adding & subtracting the name of the question, How is an eye doctor like a teacher could have lead me straight to the answer but it would take quiet some time but instead I took the normal way by answering the bunch of the questions on the book. Review 2: Lydia earned $237 from working a hard time job, Annabel earned $189 so how much together? well 237+189=426 because 7+9=6 taking away the 1, 3-8=6,2+1 plus 2 more 1's putting all the answers to the different the different equations which will give you, 426. A Time With My Friends

the boiling hot sun was setting, others walking around or swimming at a hotel called “Holiday Inn” in Rotorua. I was probably on the second to last day of my little holiday starting from Friday morning which means I skipped school that day. Chilling in the pool with my friends, a “girl named Khole was my dad’s friend daughter and other time I saw her we became friends at a restaurant on a harbour”, plus I was friends with her Brother, I forgot his first name but I just called him Cas because that’s part of his name so that’s that’s. 

I mostly chatted with Khole that whole time and talked about Anime and other stuff though, A little bit later I still was chatting with her and ended up going into the a hot tub for the first time. It’s felt very hot but it started to feel warm to me when I sit in there for a while, It was getting boring in that hot tub so I decided to stand out and dived back into the pool and that really freaked me out because it puts pressure on the front and the sides of my body which allows it to really give me nightmares or something. 

It was about dark when my “friends and I started to head back to our room to have a shower before we went back downstairs where we we’re have another yummy fantastic dinner, but that wasn’t all of it… I was able to go and hang more with Khole and Cas in “fancy rooms” so that was the good thing.

We played roblox on her laptop well Cas watched Nickelodeon so I watched a bit of it and waited my turn to play, Later The two Khole and Cas they got ready to go with us to meet up with our “friends” and we racing like we’re the cars and the floor was the race track.

Today In Writing I wrote a story about "a Time with my Friend" and my recount is about me at a hotel with all of my "friends" because my dads work shouted us out to stay in Rotorua at a hotel called "Hoilday Inn" which I would say that it's a 4 star hotel to me but it didn't say any 4 stars on the signs.
